The above verse because it shows the ultimate union of the offices of Christ, there is peace between the offices of priest and king in the kingdom of Christ. It is a very majestic thought to me.

I have a few 45s and LPs but no record player anymore. I have a ton of cassettes but I primarily listed to CDs and mp3s.

Names you’d name kids if your wife had no veto?

Actually, I named our kids with only slight restrictions. All of them have Celtic names in some way and all of the words of their names make up a sentence.

 

Daniels’s is Daniel Keith Christian Guinn, which means: “God is my judge; a warrior from the battlefield (older translation), Christ-like and pure. Nathan’s is Nathan Dononvan Gareth Guinn, which means: “A Gift from God; a warrior, peaceful and pure.” Ashlyn’s is Ashlyn Renee Elizabeth Guinn , which means: “A Vision of Peace and God’s promise of purity.”

The Irish meaning of the name Guinn literally means “Pure white wave”. I believe very much in strong names, and wanted my children to remember our hopes for them.
